UPDATE: MEDIA AVIALABILITY: Rehabilitated wildlife impacted by oil spill to be released

UPDATE: Location of bird release and parking has been updated. 

WHO: Representatives from the U.S. Coast Guard, California Department of Fish and Wildlife Oil Spill Prevention and Response, and the Oiled Wildlife Care Network. 

WHAT: Representatives will talk about the wildlife recovery and rehabilitation process, updates on the oil response and will be releasing cleaned wildlife from the oil spill. Wildlife include snowy plovers, grebes and sandpipers. 

WHEN: Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 11 a.m. 

WHERE: City of Huntington Beach Lifeguard Headquarters, 103 CA-1, Huntington Beach, CA 92648.
