Editor’s Note: Space on the cutter will be limited to 22 people and RSVP’s will be required. RSVP with the name and media affiliation of each person attending. Please send an email with “USCG ship” to inquiries@SoCalSpillResponse.com by 8 a.m. Wednesday morning. If more than 22 media members RSVP, a press pool will be implemented. The attending media member must wear closed-toe flat shoes. It is recommended for individuals to wear proper clothing for the day’s weather conditions. Media credentials and a government-issued ID will be required before entering the base. The cutter schedule is subject to changes or cancellation. Members will be required to wear a mask at all times indoors and when unable to socially distance outside on the ship.
